At Hemphill's in Vassalboro. Well they've actually been back for a nearly a month.
My friend LO is in the market for a quiet mount to go out on trail by herself, Since the Psycho Bitch is not ready for that step yet (she tried and got dumped hard).
I had the day off to attend a meeting of MTAC (Maine Trails Advisory Committee)in Augusta. And since Vassalboro is very close to Augusta, she drove me up, waited 3 hours, bought me lunch and we went to try out camp ponies.
Hemphill's lets out the camp horses during the winter (September - June 1st) for free lease. You can purchase your selected winter visitor if you do so by Dec. 1st. Otherwise the pony must be returned in order to fill the camp pony order for the following summer.
I like Hemphill's because I have always been able to trust them to show me only what I am shopping for. I have found a couple of very nice pony's there. I have friends who have found the same.
This is what LO Found today:
Lady Lotsa dots. Pull a few of those burs out of her forelock and she'll be as cute as a button!
