Lots has been going on and I will endeavor to catch you up. I'm not sure where to start, March--April--May--June?
Well, I'll start with Baby Avalanche I guess. A friend of ours who owns a fabulous female Great Pyrenees decided to have a litter of pups. I was instantly smitten just by the photo he showed me on his iphone of them when they were 7 days old--5 females and 2 males. He told me he was keep the largest male who he had already named Chewbaca. I told him I would take the second male and his name would be Avalanche after another wonderful pyr that I had known. This is very unusual for us because we always adopt stays or take dogs that are being given up. I can't say always anymore. I started visiting every Tuesday. This week Ave is 6weeks old. He will come home on August 10th. I can't wait. I will start with the newest photo on the top:
At 6 weeks: it was the first time Ave really looked at me and came to me for petting. This week they are playing and running without tumbling over--at least not until over taken by a sibling and pulled over.
