And this is a MINI ice storm?!? Ugh!

Edna Leigh

Well, I thought so. but it's bigger than I realized apearantly. We still have no power. Co-workers were suprised that I made it in. Many people out my way didn't. A couple of towns I drive through on my way in were crippled. I heard it could be 2 days or more for some of us to get power back on. There were lines across the road that I drove over on the way in to work--that were still down and I had to drive over them on the way out of town too! There were gas stations, convenience stores, and even duncan donuts that never opened all day! On the way home tonight I was amazed at how many homes had no light on. Some had what could have been candles or small battery powered lights in one or two windows.

Wow that ice is incredible I can't say I have ever seen anything like it

I was doing a little Google ice storm search when I came across your blog. What beautiful pictures you have! Lucky you not to lose you power. Wish we could have been so fortunate.

I did see the moon but didn't feel very inspired due to the situation we were in. Hope you were able to get some photo's. I'll have to check out the rest of your blog. Always nice to find a fellow New Englander : )
